Youth & Young Adult

On a diocesan level, our YAYA ministries include a summer camp partnership with the ELCA Living Water Ministries, Camp Compassion mission trips, Happening retreat for youth, and Episcopalooza, a back-to-school carnival. Many members of the diocese see these ministries as an area of strength and want to see them expanded, particularly at the congregational level.

Our campus ministry presence includes The Way of Love: The Episcopal Mission at MSU and Canterbury House at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Canterbury House provides free and affordable food options for students to help address hunger on campus, and its Concert Series brings new music from local and national performers to its intimate performance space.
